Gary Denbow II
Artistic Director
Gary Denbow II is a Twin Cities based performer, composer, arranger, and educator. He received his master's degree from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance where he studied under jazz great Bobby Watson. Currently, he is an adjunct professor of music at SUM Bible College and Seminary and an instructor at the Homestead Music Academy in Farmington.
In addition to Gary’s 13 years of private lesson and classroom teaching, he is the founder and director of The Bo Den Bo Project, a jazz ensemble that reinterprets modern church music and a member of the Genesis Jazz Orchestra led by Dave Hagedorn.
